The Winnebagoland Barbershop Chorus, under the direction of Chris Vander Pas, will hold its annual "Album of Barbershop Harmony" on Saturday, March 24, at the Alberta Kimball Auditorium, 375 N. Eagle St., Oshkosh. Two shows will be held during the day, a matinee show starting at 2 p.m. and and evening show starting at 6 p.m.
Tickets are $15 and are good for either show. There will be an afterglow following the evening show, just down the hall from the auditorium. Tickets are available from any chorus member, by calling 920-231-6542, or at the box office in the auditorium.
The theme of the show is "Heroes of Harmony." The deliciously evil Blade Storm is on a rampage to steal all the keys on the pitch pipe from the chorus members, leaving them with no music left to sing. Join them as they create their troupe to get the keys back. At the beginning of the show, only the keys of A, C, D, and F sharp are taken, but more dastardly developments by the diligent dude of destruction will continue the carnage. Find out who will go after Blade Storm and what will ultimately come out of the battle that takes place.

Frontier Quartet, which has been singing together since March 2015, will be the featured quartet. The members of the quartet come from different musical backgrounds and expertise, after singing with numerous other quartets through their early years in the Barbershop Harmony Society. The quartet took ninth place in the 2015 Collegiate Barbershop Quartet Contest in Pittsburgh after securing the district college qualifier in April of that year. In October 2015, the young men each attained a lifelong dream together when they captured their first Pioneer District Championship in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
All ages will thoroughly enjoy this show.
